Internships

Students in 27J have the opportunity to further their career exploration with opportunities like gaining clinical experience, credit for work, internships, pre-apprenticeships, industry-sponsored projects, and supervised entrepreneurship expereinces.

Credits

Seniors may participate in a one-semester internship, on Mondays. Students will earn one elective credit for every 60 hours worked.

Training

Students will be required to attend an internship training day with focus on interview and professional skills.

Site Placement

Students will interview for a site placement; sites should align with the students' CTE program. Placement is not guaranteed.
