BHS Trap Team 2023 Fundraiser!

Dear Generous Donor,

Brighton High School, Eagle Ridge High School and Forge High School are proud to announce the first ever trap, skeet and sporting clays high school fundraiser on August 20, 2023 at Colorado Clays Shooting Park. BHS, ERA and FHS all participate in the Trap Sport, under the association of the Colorado High School Clay Target League and the USA High School Clay Target League with our Title Sponsor Rocky Mountain Pawn.

We have grown our program and between the three schools have over 70 co-ed athletes and 14 volunteer coaches to participate in the league with the belief of Safety, Fun and Marksmanship. The League attracts student athletes that have earned their firearm safety certification to participate in shooting sports while creating a “virtual” competition among other Colorado high school teams at no cost to the school. The league is also the safest sport in high school, with no reported injuries since the inception of the League in 2001.

Trap, like many sports, can be very expensive with the cost of shotguns, ammunition, safety gear, clay targets and range fees. We do not want money to be a barrier for our student athletes to participate and we are reaching out to you today in hopes that you would be willing to provide a donation to the event. Organizations can select Gold for $1000, Silver for $500 and Bronze for $250. Sponsorships will receive guaranteed publicity, shoutouts on social media and on the school platforms, as well as recognition throughout the shoot. Gold sponsors will also receive a free team entry.

In addition to sponsorship for the event we would love to see you join us in the fun! Participation for the shoot is $100 for a 3 person team that must have at least 1 member under 18 (School ID required). Each member shoots 50 rounds with one team member shooting Trap, another Skeet, another Sporting Clays. This entry also includes a delicious luncheon and an opportunity to win prizes and chances to enter into raffles including a shotgun from Rocky Mountain Pawn. Sign up here: to participate in the event.

Your generous contribution to this event is tax deductible and will help support the various aspects of our weekly functions including purchasing targets, range fees and the continued development of safe, respectful and responsible athletes. We are looking forward to an amazing season of growth for our teams. Be sure to follow our progress on Instagram and the schools website. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your support!
