Prom 2024: Secrets of the Night

April 27th - 8-11 PM

  • 90% attendance is required to purchase tickets and to attend the dance. Second semester attendance only is being calculated!! We will run a new report every day.  If you feel there are mistakes in your attendance, you will need to reach out to the attendance secretary.
  • Only 11th and 12th graders will be allowed to purchase prom tickets.  All dates must be of high school age and under the age of 21, but he/she cannot purchase his/her own ticket. The BHS student must purchase the ticket for the guest.   Each junior/senior is allowed to purchase 2 tickets.  We will have a list of all of the students who are eligible to purchase tickets due to attendance.  We will not sell you a ticket if you do not have 90% attendance.  We will not sell you a ticket for your BHS date, if your BHS date does not have 90% attendance.
  • Each ticket sold will have a name attached to it, even if your guest does not attend BHS.
  • YES, you need to bring your school ID, or a personal ID if not a BHS Student.
  • Yes, you can bring a non-BHS student to prom.  He/she needs to be between the ages of 14-20 and you need to have the paperwork filled out before the dance.  BRING THE PAPERWORK TO THE DANCE.  WE WILL NOT ALLOW ENTRANCE TO ANY NON-BHS ATTENDEES WITHOUT THE PROPER PAPERWORK  AND IDENTIFICATION!  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY.
  • Paperwork will be available at the ticket table in the main lobby, in the counseling and main offices.
  • There will be a security check at the entrance.
  • We will not grant a refund if you obtained a ticket by dubious means (outsmarted the attendance policy.) 
  • Brighton High School reserves the right to deny entrance into or remove any student or guest suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as well as any other unlawful behavior. No refunds will be granted in such cases.  
  • All vape pens and all other paraphernalia will be confiscated.
  • Prom is downtown.  Is it safe?  Riverdale Ridge had their prom there on the 13th and had no issues/
  • Yes, it is a masquerade ball. Students are allowed to wear masks.  You will have to remove them at the entrance to verify ID.
  • Formal attire encouraged but not required.
