Student Fees
Students are required to pay fees in full in order to participate in all extracurricular activities (sports, clubs), attend field trips, attain a parking permit, as well as to walk in graduation ceremonies. All student fees must be paid in full prior to a student withdrawing from Brighton High School. Please make plans to settle all student fees, in full, once allocated.
There are four annual fees that are allocated for each student attending Brighton High School. These fees are assessed one time at the beginning of every year and those are for their graduating class fee, a chromebook maintenance fee, a software licensing fee and a building Naviance fee. Course fees are incurred once each semester for all students based on their individual schedules. There can also be additional fees added throughout the school year for lost/damaged equipment, parking permits or violations, student ID’s, clubs, and more.
Student fees may be paid online by using either the student or parent Infinite Campus portal. Payments can be made in person at the finance office at BHS by card, cash or check. When using a card please be aware that there is a 3.5% surcharge fee. If you would like to make the payments using your checking account number to pay online, there is a $0.35 processing fee.
For Free/Reduced lunch applications and information, please see the district webpage under Nutrition Services. Make sure you completely fill out the forms, especially the check boxes on the back regarding the waiving of school fees.
Athletic participation fees are due prior to the start of the first practice for each sport.
